Journals

UB ScholarWorks hosts diamond-model open access journals (i.e., without author or reader fees). Journals published in UB ScholarWorks contain scholarly and creative contributions that extend scholarly conversations within existing disciplines, as well as niche and emergent fields. Editor(s) of these journals are affiliated with the University at Buffalo, though co-editors, editorial staffs, and authors are not necessarily so affiliated.

Future projects may include open access monographs, open conference proceedings, and open educational resources.

Journal of Educational Supervision (JES)

Edited by Ian Mette from UB’s Graduate School of Education, JES explores the latest research in the field of educational supervision. First published in 2018, the journal previously operated through the University of Maine’s Digital Commons platform. Now, it transitions to UB ScholarWorks, where it will continue fostering dialogue in the field and connecting researchers across institutions.
